What is acupuncture point therapy?

Acupuncture is the procedure of inserting and manipulating thin, disposable needles into various points on the body to relieve pain or for therapeutic purposes. The needles may be manipulated by the hands or by an electrical stimulation. You may be surprised to find our 15-30 minute treatments relaxing with minimal discomfort. One of the most striking aspects of acupuncture is the almost complete absence of adverse effects and complications from its use. You can experience relief immediately – or in a matter of days. Longer-term treatment, however, generally produces the best results.
